Training
Training is the most important part of any career. We work with some of the world’s best known and best loved heritage visitor attractions. The kind of jobs you may be doing in museums and galleries can be as varied as visitor hosts, tour guides, front of house, hospitality, ticketing, admin, retail and security. You’ll be talking about the subject you love with people who are keen to learn more. And if you’re hoping to kick-start a career in the heritage sector, temp work is a great place to start – permanent jobs in this sector are few and far between, so getting a temporary job will give you the opportunity to meet the right people and show them what you’re made of.
We work with luxury makeup, fragrance, skincare and fashion brands throughout the country. You could be working in high-end department stores or malls. If you work in skincare, you’ll be giving advice to people about their skin concerns and recommending products that may help. If you’re working as a fragrance consultant, you’ll be expected to approach people to offer samples and talk about the science of fragrance. As an MUA you could be asked to do makeovers in the brand style – many of our MUAs have clients of their own and work with us to top up their income while they grow their business which means temporary work is a great fit.
